Unix Infrastructure Technician (Knutsford, Cheshire)
Part of GRB Technology, GISD is the organisation which runs, builds and maintains the Bank’s IT infrastructure. It is a £500M organisation with circa 1600 people and accountable for the delivery of key outsourced services. Unix Infrastructure Technicians report to the Unix Service Delivery Manager.
You’ll be responsible for the resolution of UNIX incidents and problems whilst minimising impact to live service, documenting root causes and implementing remedies. This will typically include liaison with SMEs, Help Desk and Change Functions.
