The first week of 2017 is almost out of the way. How’s your resolution going? There has been tonnes of content released this week around how to keep your 2017 goals alive. The problem with this is… we hear it every year!
A Bit of Fun
Some of our earlier visitors will know we’ve been up and running since 2010. In our 6 years we’ve worked in helping huge brands improve their employer branding and fill roles through advertising on our direct-employer only job board. Some of the brands we’ve helped include the likes of Mitchell & Butlers and Primark.
As well as being about snazzy festive jumpers and Santa hats, today is about charity and giving back. Based in 22 areas across the UK, Cash For Kids is a great cause to support at Christmas. This fantastic appeal provides less fortunate children across the UK with a present to open on Christmas. Key 103 operate the Manchester arm of the charity and provide drop off points for you to take a toy or two in which they then pick up, sort into categories based on who they’d suit before wrapping them and shipping them off to the children – a true show of what Christmas is all about.
It’s finally upon us and there’s no avoiding it. We’re over a week into December and ‘tis indeed the season to be jolly – especially in work.
As soon as we reach the colder months, Christmas talk is in the air whether you like it or not, particularly in the office. We constantly look out for which stores are first to start stocking selection boxes and looking out for the often dreaded ’12 Mondays until Christmas’ posts on social media.
It’s Christmas eve, the presents are all wrapped, mince pies are in the oven and it is soon time for Father Christmas to pay a visit. But if you are out of work, the pressures can cause stress and potentially ruin your enjoyment of the festive period.
