Inspired by the recent “My Top 10 Business Design Failure” presentation in the Notebook, I thought about this from my business standpoint and decided to share my own business lessons and thoughts. I’ll keep this short(ish) and bittersweet.
Websites and Web applications have become progressively more complex as our industry’s technologies and methodologies advance. What used to be a one-way static medium has evolved into a very rich and interactive experience.
Coding is a logical process. You want the site or program to do a particular thing. You enter in the commands needed to achieve that end.

Like a lot of web designers I didn’t go to school to learn design or development. My degrees are in completely unrelated fields. As a web designer and developer I’m close to 100% self-taught. That self-teaching isn’t random though.
